What do you do when someone steals your content? There is no acknowledgement, credit, nothing, nada, zilch attributed …what do you do?

Lorelle on WordPress has an excellent post titled, What Do You Do When Someone Steals Your Content. This is a must-read post, where Lorelle shares some great suggestions and follow-up suggestions. She also has quite a few other post on the same subject.

Thank you for the link and support.

It’s very important we talk about this so we can overcome the myth that “if it’s on the net, it’s free for the taking”. I don’t know where people got that stupid and lazy idea, but it’s there. We need to talk about it and get everyone to understand that once you hit the publish button, you have rights to your published work and it is yours. What you choose to do with it, and what you allow others to do with it, is up to you.

Thanks Lorelle for your comments. Many people are unaware of their rights and why people should not steal content.
